Discover the Spring District, Bellevue’s newest neighborhood, with brand new housing, restaurants, and even an open courtyard with great big porch swings! From there, explore a mix of what Bellevue has to offer, with a walk through the commercial district along Northup Way, a stroll through residential neighborhoods, and finishing with the peaceful quiet of the Eastlink Trail. For qualifiers on the Light Rail Challenge II, you can choose between Spring District and Bel-Red Stations.

Comments: This walk is designed to start and end at the Spring District Light Rail Station. For those arriving by car, see “Driving Directions & Parking” below for further information. Restrooms are available at about 3K along the 10K route at a coffee shop (or at about 2.5K on the 5K route). Pets are not allowed on Light Rail, but ok on walk route if arriving otherwise. Leash and clean-up laws apply.

Driving Directions & Parking: There is no parking at the Spring District Light Rail Station, but there is parking at the nearby Bel-Red Station. For those arriving via car, driving directions and suggestions for parking at Bel-Red Station, along with instructions for alternate start from Bel-Red Station, are included in the Online Start Box download.
Metro Bus: Route 226. Disembark on NE 12th St, at 120th Ave NE . Walk north on 120th (for 0.28K) to NE Spring Blvd. Turn right on Spring. Start is on your left at the Spring District Light Rail Station.
