Starting at the South Bellevue Light Rail Station, the route quickly joins a path through the blueberry fields of Mercer Slough Nature Park. A boardwalk leads you by the Winters House which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Cross a bridge over the Slough and perhaps catch a glimpse of birds or kayakers. The 10K route leaves the Nature Park for views from Entatai Beach Park and parks in Beaux Arts Village.

Comments: This walk is designed to start and end at the South Bellevue Light Rail Station. There is also a large parking garage at the start location for those arriving by car. Pets are not allowed on Light Rail, but ok on walk route if arriving otherwise. Leash and clean-up laws apply. Restrooms on the 6K route are open only seasonally, but there is a detour off the 6K route to a year-round restroom at about 3.5K (detour is about 0.5K total distance). The 10K route has restrooms at 4K, 7K, and 9K.
