This walk starts at the Bellevue Downtown Light Rail Station, in the heart of Bellevue’s bustling downtown core, then quickly transitions to a lovely suburban experience, walking past the Bellevue Library (10K), through several residential neighborhoods and parks, as well as a lovely stroll through the Bellevue Botanical Garden (5K and 10K). For qualifiers on the Light Rail Challenge II, you can choose among three stations along the route! Bellevue Downtown, Wilburton (10K only), and East Main. At the end of your walk, consider lounging in the courtyard outside Bellevue City Hall, pictured below, or go inside during open hours to enjoy some interesting public art and historical displays.

Comments: This walk is designed to start and end at the Bellevue Downtown Light Rail Station. For those arriving by car, see “Driving Directions & Parking” below for further information. Pets not allowed in the Botanical Garden – if walking with a pet, you may skip the garden and deduct 1K from your distance. Pets are not allowed on Light Rail, but ok on walk route if arriving otherwise (except at Botanical Garden as noted above). Leash and clean-up laws apply.
