Walk through the Madison Park community along Lake Washington, passing some great viewpoints of the Cascades, Mt. Rainier, Lake Washington, and the east side. Enjoy a stroll through the Washington Park Arboretum. Many buildings of interest on this walk, including Pioneer Hall on the lake, the Seattle Tennis Club, the former Russian Consulate, and others. The 6K route goes directly to the Arboretum.

Arboretum is open daily, dawn to dusk. Graham Visitors Center at the Arboretum is open daily, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – closed on major holidays.

Driving Directions: From I-5 NB, take exit 164A “Madison St” and then keep left, following the signs for Madison St. At the offramp for Madison St., move to the right lane and turn right onto Madison (away from downtown). Go 2.8 miles to 41st Ave. E. The store is on the left. From I-5 SB, take left-hand exit 168B “520 – Bellevue / Kirkland” (you will exit before the toll). Go through the tunnel and merge onto SR-520. Move quickly to the right lane and take the first right-hand exit “Montlake Blvd / Univ of Wash.” At the end of the offramp, turn right onto Montlake, and continue as it becomes 24th Ave. E. Then left onto Boyer Ave. E. Stay on Boyer as it winds downhill and passes two traffic circles. Turn right onto Lake Washington Blvd., and then left onto Madison St. Continue to 41st Ave. E. Store is on left. Do not park in the store lot. There is plenty of parking on neighborhood streets.
