Description: Walk through the Madison Park community along Lake Washington passing some great viewpoints of the Cascades, Mt. Rainier, Lake Washington, and the Eastside. Walk through and enjoy the Washington Park Arboretum. Many buildings of interest on this walk, including Pioneer Hall on the lake, the Seattle Tennis Club, the Russian Consulate, and others. The 6K route goes directly to the Arboretum.

Start Location: Bert’s Red Apple Market. 1801 41st Ave. E., Seattle, WA, 98112. Start box is in small cabinet to immediate right of door.
Driving Directions: From I-5 NB, exit onto Madison Street eastbound (away from downtown). Go 2.8 miles to 41st East. The store is on the left. From I-5 SB, take Montlake Blvd. exit, and then the Montlake offramp. Right on Montlake, Left on Interlake, Right on Lake Washington Blvd., and then Left on Madison. Do not park in the store lot; there is plenty of parking on neighborhood streets.
Fees: To walk for credit, fee is $3.00. Free walkers are welcome, but must register and carry a Start Card.
Comments: Restrooms along the route but not at the start/finish point. Carry water. Wheelchair and strollers will have difficulty and will need to find some alternate routes.
