Walk with Us for the Bee Festival

Description:
Celebrate bees at the Bee Festival Walk in Seattle’s High Point neighborhood.  Along the walk, enjoy sweeping views to the east and west, pocket parks, the highest point in Seattle, among other points of interest.  Take in West Seattle’s Bee Festival (Festival runs from noon to 4:00 p.m.).  Feel free to dress like a bee!  The 10K route is rated 2A, and the 5k route is rated 1A.

Registration open: 9:00 a.m. to noon

Driving Directions:
From I-5, either direction, take the West Seattle Bridge/Spokane St. exit.  Cross the bridge and continue in the left lane up the hill to the first stoplight at 35th Ave SW.  Turn LEFT on 35th Ave SW and go approximately 1.2 miles to SW Morgan St.  Turn LEFT on SW Morgan St.  In 1.5 blocks, turn LEFT into Holiday Bridge Park/Senior Living parking lot for parking.  Neighborhood parking around High Point Commons Park and parking behind Neighborhood House (6400 Sylvan Way NW) also available.

Metro Bus:
Metro bus route 21.  Exit the bus at 35th Ave SW and SW Raymond St.  Head east (past library) on SW Raymond St.  Turn RIGHT on Lanham Pl. SW.

Comments:
Water provided at the start location.  Restrooms at the start location, and along the way.  Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome.  Clean-up laws apply.   Strollers are okay on the 5K route, with workarounds.
