There are four loops on this walk, each approximately 5K. Loop A heads along the lakeshore up into the Madrona neighborhood with lovely views, and a long boardwalk/bridge. Loop B heads through the Leschi neighborhood, Frink Park, Mt. Baker Park, and past the historic Ellsworth-Storey cottages. It offers magnificent, panoramic views of Lake Washington, the Floating Bridge (from above & below), the east side, and the Cascades. On clear days, see Mt. Baker to the north, and Mt. Rainier to the south, from the viewpoint above the Lacey Murrow floating bridge. Loop C is an add-on to Loop B, and goes along the lakefront, up into the Mt. Baker neighborhood, with some of Seattle’s grandest homes. Loop D is an add-on to Loop B that heads out across the I-90 floating bridge and back.
Loops A and B are each good 5K walks. For 10K, walk A and B together, or B and C. Mix and match for 15K. Do all for 20K.
