Join us for a one-day walk event on June 14, 2025, hosted by the Sound Steppers Volkssport Club. This Guided Walk will explore several nice trails in the area, including the Lakeview Trail to Ballinger Park, a new paved trail in Ballinger Park, and the Lyon Creek Trail through the Candy Cane play area. Enjoy views of Lake Ballinger from Ballinger Park, a stroll past the Mountlake Terrace City Hall, and a nice walk through some lovely residential neighborhoods of Mountlake Terrace. The walk starts and finishes at the Mountalke Terrace Light Rail Station.

This walk starts and finishes at the Mountlake Terrace Light Rail Station. For those arriving by car, see below for driving directions to the Station. Pets are not allowed on Light Rail, but ok on walk route if arriving otherwise. Leash and clean-up laws apply. This will be a Guided Walk, wherein we walk as a group. Restroom options on the route include: Mountlake Terrace Light Rail Station, Ballinger Park, Mountlake Terrace Rec Pavilion, and the Library near the Light Rail Station.
Driving Directions:
From I-5 Northbound, exit at 236th SW. Straight to the Mountlake Terrace Light Rail Station. From I-5 Southbound, exit at 220th SW. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Turn right on 58th Ave W. Turn Right on 236th SW. Turn right to the Mountlake Terrace Light Rail Station.
