Angle Lake Station – Des Moines Creek

Alert:  We learned that the store owner for our Start Location at the Angle Lake Station is retiring and selling, as of October 15.  At that point, the Angle Lake walk, and the Des Moines Creek Trail walk, will both be unavailable.  Stay tuned for updates on whether a new Start Location can be established.  (Note, the Des Moines Creek Trail walk is still available starting from its original Start Location, in the town of Des Moines, but not for the Start at Light Rail.)

Stroll the Des Moines Creek Trail – a lovely walk through nature – and then walk along the marina and through town, before returning on the Trail back up to the Start Location.  Browse the Farmers Market, June – September, Saturdays 10 to 2 (what a beautiful setting for it – right at the edge of the water), and enjoy expansive views of Puget Sound and the Olympics.  The 5K route walks along the Des Moines Creek Trail and then back to the Start Location via the area near the Light Rail Station, but does not go all the way down to the marina and town.
